Chris O'Rourke - Divisional Manager
I joined Andrew Page in December 2012 as Branch Manager at the Birmingham Branch. In June 2013 I moved into the position of Regional Business Manager covering the West Midlands Region, this region initially consisted of 9 depots but quickly moved to 13. As a Regional Business Manager my role was to ensure the seamless operation of the region on a daily basis whilst maintaining and concentrating on the business bottom line return. March 2015 I was promoted into the role of Divisional Manager for the Central Region covering three regions; West Midlands, Eastern and East Anglia with 37 branches in total.
Andrew Page has given me the opportunity to not only experience and fully understand the operational aspects of a branch, but also progress my career to a senior position within the Company. I work closely with the regional sales and operational teams in each of the three regions ensuring that we have the correct plans in place and that the regions are operating at their greatest level of ability to drive the business forwards.
Surgit Singh - AP Tech
I first joined Andrew Page in January 1998 in the Warehouse at the Hull branch, before moving into Telesales in 2004 in both the Hull and Beverley branch. In October 2006, I became Assistant Manager at the Grimsby branch before becoming Branch Manager in April 2010. After 2 years of managing the Grimsby branch, I moved to the Support Centre, Leeds in December 2012 working within the AP Tech team.
Over the years I have gained a lot of knowledge through working within different roles, as the Company offers a range of roles and opportunities to move within the business. I never thought I would be working at Head Office in Leeds, but I found an interest in garage equipment which led me to join the AP Tech team.
Richard Green - Markham Vale Shift Manager
I started working for Andrew Page in August 2009 as an Apprentice at APD Stourton and then moved into the Warehouse in November 2009 before becoming Warehouse Supervisor at APS Lockwood Way in May 2010. I started working at the Markham Vale Distribution Centre in March 2015 and was then promoted to Shift Manager on 1st July 2015.
It just goes to show that with hard work and dedication you can achieve your goals. I never dreamed that 7 years ago when I started as an apprentice I would become the Shift Manager for the groups National Distribution Centre. I have learnt so much in my time with Andrew Page already and I look forward to future challenges with the business.
Che Allen - Southampton/Eastleigh Branch Manager
I have been with Andrew Page for 9 years, starting as a driver at Eastleigh in 2007 and then moving into a Telesales role in January 2008, working my way up to Sales Office Manager. In 2014 the Company invested extra money by opening a new hub site in Southampton and in November 2015, I was given the opportunity of taking on the challenge as Branch Manager for both Southampton and Eastleigh.
During this time Andrew Page have been very supportive in aiding me to achieve my career goals, including offering training such as the SOM Talent Development Programme to assist me in my transition into management.
Andrew Page always seek to promote new talent within the Company for individuals with the right attitude who are willing to put in the work, which I continue to do in my role as Branch Manager.
Amy Gent - HR Assistant
I started working for Andrew Page in October 2014 as HR Assistant and in the time I have been here, Andrew Page has already continued its? expansion plans, with the successful opening of three new branches in Woodford Green, Cardiff and Halesowen. Andrew Page Ltd has provided me with opportunities to regularly attend training and seminars on aspects of Employment Law and continues to support training and development within the organisation.
My role is not just a desk job, it's about talking to people and answering any queries they may have. I am here not only for the business but for the employees as well, my door is always open and if any staff need any help, advice or support then I hope that they always feel free to approach me.
Angela Couldrake - Driver
I started working as a Delivery Driver at the Bristol branch in February 2006 and have worked for Andrew Page and formerly Camberley Auto Factors for the last 10 years as a Driver. I enjoy meeting people, I love driving as I enjoy being outdoors. I get on really well with other members of staff, we are like one big family and look out for each other. I wouldn't change anything!
Maria Pope - Driver
I have been a Delivery Driver at the Bristol branch for 10 years, since May 2006. I enjoy working for Andrew Page because driving is my passion and I get to meet many different people. The people and Company are equally as good as each other to work with and for. I look forward to getting up and coming in to work each day, I just really do love my job!
