Automotive batteries

As a producer of automotive batteries under the Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations 2009, we, Andrew Page 1917 Ltd, are obliged to collect, free of charge and within a reasonable time, waste automotive batteries for treatment and recycling from final holders e.g. garages, scrap yards, end-of-life vehicle Authorised Treatment Facilities, Civic Amenity Sites, etc. We are required to do this in any calendar year we place new automotive batteries on the market. If you require us to take back any Automotive batteries, please contact us at your local branch. We will agree the necessary arrangements for the return, proper treatment and recycling of, the waste automotive batteries.

# As this is a free service we cannot attach any value to any batteries returned under this offer.

# The maximum permissible individual consignment (collection) is 5 (five) batteries.

# The necessity for your premises to be registered as a hazardous waste producer is no longer required.

#  For Health & Safety reasons, the battery cannot be leaking and the outer case must be acid free.


We reserve the right to decline any collection if any of the foregoing is not complied with.
